In an hour and a half, I'll be in the theater viewing "Watchmen". I got a ticket to a fairly early showing (I'm Pacific Standard Time) to avoid some craziness. I'm guessing that since I was able to buy the ticket at all, it bodes well for there not being too much drama. You never know, though...
Normally I avoid opening weekend madness. I was really impressed with the story, though, and want to show some support. I HATE that Fox, because of all the litigations, is getting a bit of my money. However, I'm grateful it got to the screen at all.
No Eric as he has a hard time with movies. I can occasionally guilt him into coming with me, but I didn't want to for this one. I want to be around folks who would actually enjoy it. No one was able to go. I even asked the crazy wrestling co-worker. He has to work tonight and didn't want to call in sick to see it. Silly man. His loss. So, this means I have to brave some crowds -- which I hate. Ah, well. I'll try to just focus on the movie and have a good time. I'd better start getting ready. I HATE missing previews when I bother to lay down the cash to see a movie in the theater. Now, popcorn or no popcorn. That is the question...
