Both Eric and my mother encouraged me to take a lower class load. I believe that I will. I don't know why it's such a hard thing to deal with -- finishing up at age 41 or 42 rather than 40. I'll still have 30 or so good years, right? I hope...
Seriously, though, I think it's for the best. I've been doing a 2 steps forward and 1 step back thing anyway. I'd take four courses, get A's in three of them and have to retake one because of the load. No more than 3 classes from now on for me. And no more summer classes. EVAR! At this slower pace, it will take me longer, but my GPA will be higher for longer. And there would be time to take trips and stuff between terms. There will be more time for writing and reading. All in all, a good idea. Being an worn-out Old Maid when I'm done? Well. We all have our burdens to bear.
More later. I have an Anatomy and Physiology test to fail, if you'll excuse me.
