Rainbows and Songs

I saw the first rainbow I've seen in years. It was nice, though it was wet and chilly outside.

I get to sing in public for the first time in years. There's a Christmas recital for the place where I take my voice lessons. The first time I sang in public was at Punk Karaoke in Minnesota and I sang: "Anarchy in the UK" by the Sex Pistols. That was fun.

The term is over. I'm not certain of my grades. It was the worst term so far. I was really stressed out about it for a while. I started new meds (lexapro. Yeah, trying the happy pills again. I'll report in whether they're working as soon as I know. I'll give it six months and quit if I see no change) in the middle of a term (bad idea) and was sleepy a LOT the first few weeks. I could not get out of bed for class at least 3 times. I'm determined to do better next term.

Today is a good day. Rain isn't evil. I don't even mind gray skies.  I like variety throughout the year. I'm not a sun worshipper and don't get down when it's gray -- unless it's gray all year.

Hope everyone is well. I will be able to write more and respond more. I will also be able to work more on my own writing during the break.

Later!

-Lula.
