Coffee Squirrel

Birthday Loot (I got those bitches in check -- kidding!)

I didn't expect to get =ANYTHING=, really. Here's what I got, though: The Sicilian got me a printer (!?). I was so grateful I didn't know what to say. It's just a cheap little thing that I would have gotten for myself if I weren't so averse to spending money for my own wants and needs. I buy Eric a cup of coffee quicker than I buy things I need for class. I annoy myself -- and Eric -- when I do that. Anyway, it was SO touching. And B, the talky little blonde at work, brought her son in with her. On her DAY OFF she brought in a bag with some sauce from a local restaurant I raved about, a candle and an odd angel-doll thing-y  with wings in an outfit lined with faux fur (no, not a fairy doll. It's...odd). It was SO nice!

No amount of: "Nah, son! I can't believe you did that! Take it back!" Would move The Sicilian. And B dropped off the gift and LEFT. So, so nice. I didn't realize my mojo was that strong!

Now I just have to breathe slowly and talk my Luddite-leaning ass through the instructions on how to set the damned printer up. No more excuses for not actually =writing= rather than journaling here. Something about having paper in my hands and reading it allows me to see the story or article more clearly.

Okay. I have a printer. Thank you 2007! Hail Eris!
