I went out and knew it would be much like seeing a movie alone. I finally felt hq447's pain when I actually made an effort to go out. I nearly fled the building when someone sang: "The Bluest Eyes in Texas". But I have a masochistic side. A side that must see how low the road goes. I stayed. I stayed through "A Man of Constant Sorrow" (a song I actually like). Through a bunch of Eagles songs. I finally sang "Sweet Love" by Anita Baker. Folks were polite but perplexed. It was alright, though. I might force myself to go again and sing Nickleback and really confuse them.
I've pushed on the reading group and have made some progress with those who wrote with interest. We'll see how that goes. See, theperfumer? Don't dare me! LOL!
