You Are The Outlaw
"Sure, I'll do it. My way."

Just because you do not conform to the same laws and rules as everyone else does not mean that you are a bad guy. You travel your own path, separate from those around you, with your own reasons for doing what you do. Because of this and your own nature, it goes without saying that you are generally misunderstood. That does not matter much, though, as people love you for being who you are. You are pretty well set in your ways and have no real intention of changing. This can come across as a flicker of arrogance if your not careful. You do what is right for you, and God help anyone who stands in your way.

i hope they do something, but i doubt they will. this child was close to my mom's age when he was killed for whistling at a white woman on a visit down south. the killers were freed. of course, his mom is already dead and they choose *now* to dig up and "search for clues". gods bless america.

eric's sister is no longer talking to him. he doesn't demonstrate enough that he cares about her. the woman needs medication. eric has a condition that can give one a flat affect. he's on *powerful* anti-psychotic drugs. WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE, BITCH?! "i drove you places and gave you candy and things on holidays i paid you to watch the dog so you'd have something to do blah, blah, blah". i can just hear it. eric himself will tell you: you don't have to do *anything* for him you don't want to. when he was homeless, he *never* went to a shelter. never even to a soup kitchen. he scrounged through trash for food. he slept in parks. he didn't want anyone to think that he was some big, scary guy imposing on them. he hates feeling like folks are trying to intimidate him. he was harrassed and beat up regularly as a child. one neighborhood kid actually *peed* on him. he grew taller. he took martial arts. he taught martial arts. he was a brown belt with impressively fast reflexes (though you wouldn't know it now). he *still* hates the idea of hurting anyone or physically intimidating anyone. i don't know many folks who try as hard as he does to be fair and decent. he doesn't always succeed, but he always tries. she has a man that works his ass off so she can stay home. he loves his two sons (one of whom he adopted and is not his biologically). i know you can't get inside of a marriage and things go on when others aren't around. but he seems nice. but whenever there's an issue with him, all men are suspect. and it's getting old. "only women actually care about me!" she whines "but my women friends are too busy with working!". i don't think your husband would have put up with your shrieking for 11 years if he didn't care at all. eric grew up with you. he cares, heifer! go talk it over with your therapist and quit making yourself a martyr to everything! start a livejournal, for eris' sake!

oh, well. less stress about leaving this state. i won't feel i'm pulling eric away from his weekly coffees with she and her husband. he has no other regular company but those two and myself. perhaps he'll actually find something fun to do with his time in new mexico. but i shouldn't get too excited until we check out eugene. lots of hippies, i hear. but i don't always trust these modern neo-hippies to be so nice. they seem all about the look, but when someone who is literally outside the system like eric shows up needing basic human contact and conversation, they don't know what to do.

grrrr. Grrrrr. GRRRRGRRRRRRRrrrr.

okay. thanks. i feel better. a litte.
